Archives of the Federal Office for the Protection of Monuments: Restitution Materials and holdings from the NS-era
The holdings concerning restitution materials until 1945 were temporarily outsourced from the Federal Office for the Protection of Monuments.
It is arranged in three sub-groups:
- General, thematically structured holdings concerning restitution materials
- Individual-related holdings
- Miscellaneous: photograph holdings, parts of the CACP property-cards, a fragmentary register of the former central depot at the “Neue Burg” as well as a collection of Dorotheum catalogues; continuous incorporations
The holdings are documented chronologically in index and protocol books. The use of these as a finding aid is not intended as the materials are thematically structured.
