7.       Tyrol: federal state government enactment on July 3, 2007 : The federal state government decided to acknowledge the moral responsibility in form of voluntary benefits for the loss and damage that was inflicted upon Jewish citizens and other victims of National Socialism as a result of or in conjunction with the Nazi regime. In this spirit restitution measures are taken within the scope of the legal order of the state Tyrol for assets that ended up as property or other power of disposal of the state Tyrol .

Municipalities
Further municipalities besides the City of Vienna (Linz, Lienz, Stockerau) followed up on the federal government’s approach in terms of the Restitution Act.
