The files deal with the various phases of collection and the decentralized dispersal of objects, the adaptation of premises, packaging and competence. This set of records contains the collecting points in Vienna, Lower Austria, Upper Austria (Kremsmünster, Altaussee) and Salzburg.

Transfers from the collecting points, the search for objects and their return to Austria (Salzburg Residenz, Schloss Klessheim) are contained in the records on the Central Art Collecting Point in Munich (CACP).
